On Easter Monday, April 1st, starting at 10:00, head to the heart of the Vinodol region for the Bribirski Prisnac Food Trail, in the picturesque town of Bribir, located about five kilometers away. Bribir was once the seat of the Krk princes and is now a charming hillside town where, just like in the past, the gastronomic delicacy of the region - Bribir Prisnac. Transportation from the hotel is provided.
Prisnac is traditionally prepared on Easter according to the traditional recipe. There is a festival dedicated to showcasing the traditional savoury salty dish made of eggs, cottage cheese, bacon, spring onion, fat and flour and its gastronomic legacy, with renown chef Damir Tomljanović showing "first-hand" how the traditional dish that no food afficionado is able to resist is made. Freshly made Bribirski prisnac will be served paired with a glass of fine wine, and you will be able to mingle and have fun, while enjoying an interesting culture and arts programme.
